Balanced Bodies offers four hormone replacement options for women –creams, pills, injections, and pellets. We’ll work with you to determine which option is right for your lifestyle. All hormones are compounded to meet each women’s precise dosing needs.
Topical Cream
Hormone creams are a non-invasive way to get a specific amount of hormones when applied to the skin. Estrogen, testosterone, and progesterone creams are applied once daily or as directed by your healthcare provider. The hormones are transported through the layers of the skin and into the bloodstream. Hormones creams are formulated for rapid absorption and leave no residue.
Pills
Natural hormones can be administered orally or via troches (dissolvable tablets). These are typically taken daily to ensure stable hormone levels. We offer compounded testosterone, progesterone, and estrogen hormones. Compounded hormones are made specifically for each individual to meet their specific dosing requirements.
Pellets
Hormone pellets are available for testosterone and progesterone replacement. Our natural bio-identical hormone pellets are the size of a grain of rice and are placed in the hip to release a steady dose of hormones over several months. Our unique hormone pellets are formulated to match the hormones produced by your body. Hormone pellets are manufactured to ensure the highest standards of quality, sterility and potency-tested to ensure safe, precise dosing. Our patented hormone insertion device ensure pellets are placed in the correct area with little or no discomfort.
Injections
Women may choose to have hormones replaced via injections. These are typically administered once weekly. We offer injectable testosterone and estrogen specifically tailored for a woman’s needs. There is little to no pain associated with these injections. Hormone injections offer the advantage of bypassing the GI system and women typically begin to notice the effects within a matter of days.
When to consider Female HRT
Decline in female hormones can begin anytime in a woman’s life. This may include estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, thyroid and DHEA. Imbalances in these hormones can have a major impact on overall health. And, they can be the root cause of a number of unpleasant symptoms too.
Women may experience symptoms of hormone imbalance while still having regular menstrual periods or after reaching menopause. And, having sufficient hormone ratios and levels is important for emotional and physical health for all women.

Bioidentical Female Hormone Replacement (BHRT)
Balanced Bodies provides a free initial consultation for female hormone replacement therapy. This includes a review of both your medical and family history as well as your symptoms. We take the time to discuss your health concerns and goals. Lab testing is used to measure baseline hormone levels and is needed to safely prescribe hormone therapy.
Women with regular periods should have labs drawn between days 19-21 of their cycle when measuring female sex hormones.
Based on the degree of your symptoms and lab results, we customize a treatment plan to restore hormones to safe and beneficial levels. Therapy may include bioidentical estrogens, progesterone, testosterone, thyroid, DHEA, and nutritional supplements. Bio-identical hormones have the same molecular structure and function as hormones naturally produced by the body.
Clients return for follow up visits 10-12 weeks after starting therapy. Adjustments to therapy are made based on repeat lab testing and response to treatment. We continue follow up lab testing on a routine basis while on hormone replacement.
Your employer flexible savings account can be used to cover the cost of therapy. We also offer convenient financing options and accept all major credit cards. All services are very competitively priced.
